The events are perfectly spaced to improve my finish times - they support 3 weeks of training and a week up to/after the events. The atmosphere is always really good (nice microphone work from Ellie), there's no bumping and pushing (even with narrowish paths and lots of runners), and the interlocking models always incent running the whole series. With the option for 5k or 10k (and a 2k children's course), why wouldn't you want to take part?

Been doing this race for 13 years now, always look forward to it. Thanks for adding extra toilets this month too

The Dinton Summer Series is such a great family event. Myself and some of my family take part in the 5k or 10k and my grandchildren in the kids 2k. Lovely setting to run on a nice summers evening. Very well organised with plenty of parking available. Looking forward to races 3 & 4.

See you next time

Great event, as always, well done Ellie, Ian and the rest of the gang

Well organised. Nice course a touch over 10km.
Great to have to possibility to try to improve on last course time

Liked the engraved age category medal it’s and free ice cream

Really well organised, lovely shady paths around the lake, good underfoot, quality finishers medal.

One tiny suggestion for the pre-race communications: tell runners that they don't need evidence of purchase (just your name) to collect the race number - means you can leave your phone behind (and not in your bag in the bag drop area).

Excellent event, on a very warm day - can't fault the organisation or atmosphere!
Great to have water and bananas freely available at the finish

could the 5km and 10km races start a little more staggered as it makes the strat of the race for at least the first 100m very busy on narrow paths, could there also be pen times as according to estimated finish times?

I love the lake, nature and well organised , friendly atmosphere

Coming back for the next race
