Twyford Charity Family Fun Run 2019

We are very excited to be working with Twyford Together again to bring you the Twyford Together Charity Family Fun Run at a new venue, The Piggot School. Distances vary according to child’s school year.

NEW FOR 2019: A chip timed 5km for those 11+....

9am            Registration/Number Pick Up
(Please enter online if you can so we can avoid delaying the start!)
9:30am       Pre-school toddle (100m)
9:45am       Reception and Years 1 & 2 (1km)
10:05am     Years 3 & 4 (1km)
10.30am     Yrs 5 &6 (2km)
11:00am      Twyford 5km Fun Run (aged 11+)

COURSE:

All races start and finish within the grounds of the Piggot School. The 5km course goes offsite as shown on the course map here.

There will be a short warm-up before each race.

COST:

£3 per runner for pre-school toddle
£6 per runner for Reception and Years 1-6
£10 per runner for Twyford 5km Fun Run 

Parents are welcome to run alongside their children in the children's races without paying an additional entry fee. All participants in the 5km are required to enter.

All profits go to Twyford Charities Together.

RULES OF PARTICIPATION:

​PRIZES:

Medal for each finisher thanks to Mullie and banana thanks to Waitrose Twyford.

Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd boy and girl in each age group for the children's races. Prize for 1st Male & Female in the 5km.

REFRESHMENTS & ENTERTAINMENT

We're planning a selection of healthy, autumnal, eco friendly stalls this year with the help of;

- Twyford Allotments and Tenants Association
- Twyford and Ruscombe Horticultural Association,
- Twyford Toddlers
- Hare Hatch Sheeplands
- Refill Reading and Twyford Together's eco mums.

Plus, 1st Twyford Scouts will be running a breakfast BBQ and Happy Hours Pre-school a bouncy castle with face painting too!

PARKING:

Ample parking onsite 

Entries on the day available, subject to race limits and an additional £2 – cash only. Online entry will close at 10am on Friday 4 October.
