Kids love triathlon, and that's why the Barnes Fitness team is building on the craze!
The club is for children and teenagers aged between 8 and 16, and the emphasis is on having fun whilst getting fit at the same time!
To take part, all children must be able to swim 25 metres, have access to a roadworthy bicycle and helmet, and be committed to having fun!
The club coached by Barnes Fitness owners Ellie Barnes & Ian Gosling, Kirsty Scott, Kev Evely, Steve Mott and Dave Wood meets of a weekend and offers weekly hour-long sessions during term time. Venue and sessions change each week – full timetable can be found here.
Cost is £70 per child per term + £25.00 Annual Reading Rascal club membership. All new members receive a Reading Rascals swim hat and club water bottle.
FIRST TRIAL SESSION FREE – see more details here.

We've been members of Reading Rascals from the very first training session. Everyone is so friendly, and we get to train in some great places. The coaches are all really helpful, encouraging and supportive. It's a great club to be a member of.

I love Reading Rascals because I have made loads of new friends and it has given me loads more confidence in swim bike run and lots of fun!

My GB Age Group Triathlon vest was all a result of entering the Dinton Duathlon last year having picked up a flyer at Woodley parkrun one Saturday morning, then inspired to try for GB after reading Ellie Barnes' Fitness blog.
