Reading Rascal cyclingKids love triathlon, and that’s why the Barnes Fitness team is building on the craze!

The club is for children and teenagers aged between 8 and 16, and the emphasis is on having fun whilst getting fit at the same time!

To take part, all children must be able to swim 25 metres, have access to a roadworthy bicycle and helmet, and be committed to having fun!

Reading Rascals racingThe club coached by Barnes Fitness owners Ellie Barnes & Ian Gosling, Kirsty Scott, Kev Evely, Steve Mott and Dave Wood meets of a weekend and offers weekly hour-long sessions during term time. Venue and sessions change each week – full timetable can be found here.

Cost is £70 per child per term + £25.00 Annual Reading Rascal club membership. All new members receive a Reading Rascals swim hat and club water bottle.

My GB Age Group Triathlon vest was all a result of entering the Dinton Duathlon last year having picked up a flyer at Woodley parkrun one Saturday morning, then inspired to try for GB after reading Ellie Barnes’ Fitness blog.
