A stunning backdrop for a summer's evening run
Sorry, you're too late to join!
After our inagurual year last year, we are pleased to have this event firmly back on the calendar with headline sponsors, Macbeths Insurance supporting us and you every step of the way.
Beale Park and the surrounding area really is a stunning location for an evening run - with parts of the course near the Thames and others through the woods. One not to miss.
Clearly-marked multi-terrain routes (1 lap 5km/2 laps 10km) with plenty of marshals, a lead cyclist and tail marker.
Plenty of water stations too, should it be during an epic heatwave as it was in 2018!
RULES OF PARTICIPATION:
Minimum competitor age:
5km/10km - 15 as of race day
No headphones to be worn at any time during the event — this is for your own safety and the safety of other competitors. We will disqualify any competitor we find wearing headphones.
Chip timed by Rogue Racer
Commemorative medal and banana for all finishers
1st/2nd/3rd Male & Female
1st V40/50/60/70 Male/Female
Very contented first timer
Thank you for your sponsorship and support of the 10k Thames race last night in Pangbourne. It was my first ever 10k race and super hot and I ended up power walking most of it. Even so, it was a big deal to me. So thank you for making it possible. All the volunteers on the course were amazing too and super supportive.
