THE series of the summer!
The summer really isn't complete at Barnes Fitness without our infamous Summer Series.
A friendly series of 5km/10km events, now in it's 11th year, welcoming runners of ALL abilities.
The course is a lovely off-road, traffic-free route around Dinton Pastures Country Park, near Reading. 5km option is a 1 lap course, 10km option you go round the course twice!! Either way, it’s pancake flat and if you enter more than one race you’ve a great chance of seeing that course record come down month by month!

A running mother
It really is such a great race, great location, easy parking, well organised, friendly, flat, fast and fun! My weekends are for my children so snap up any opportunity to run in the summer evenings, but the Dinton Summer Series is my favourite. WELL DONE!

Online entry closes at 11.59am the day of the event.
Rules of Participation:
Minimum competitor age: 13 years for 5km event, 16 years for 10km event as of race day
No headphones to be worn during the event except Aftershokz.
No dogs or pushchairs to accompany runners
Results:
Chip timed - your result instantly available as soon as you cross the finish line

Prizes:
Event trophies and overall series prizes for:
1st/2nd/3rd Male & Female and 1st V40/50/60/70 Male/Female (based on age at start of series).
If age group winner is an overall podium winner they will receive the podium prize, and 2nd in age category will then win age group. #sharethelove

The Course:
The course starts/finishes at the Duck Feeding area by the playground and is a figure of 8 in an anti-clockwise direction, you cross the bridge between Black Swan and White Swan lake twice.
One lap of the course is your 5km race, two laps is your 10km course.
