LOCATION & PARKING

The event venue is Dinton Pastures Country Park, Davis Sreet, Hurst, Wokingham, RG10 0TH.

There is ample parking onsite either in the Main carpark in Davis Street, RG10 0TH. Charges apply - please use the machines or the RingGo App.

Please complete medical details and emergency contact details on the reverse of your the event number.

Registration closes 10 minutes prior to the start of the event.

N.B. There are no toilets at the start/finish (Duck Feeding area). Please use toilets at the café which is a 3 minute walk from the start/finish area. 

COURSE MAPS

The course starts/finishes at the Duck Feeding area by the playground and is a figure of 8 in an anti-clockwise direction, you cross the bridge between Black Swan and White Swan lake twice. 

One lap of the course is your 5km race, two laps is your 10km course.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

There will be a gazebo at the start/finish area which will NOT be supervised but you are welcome to leave any belongings you wish to during the run. Please leave valuables hidden in your car.

RESULTS

There will be a clock at the start/finish line for you to see when you cross the finish line. There will be no formal results taken at this event.

GOODIES

Each finisher will receive a mince pie and chocolate . Other hot and cold refreshments are available to purchase from our onsite refreshment vendor.

In an attempt to reduce the amount of waste generated at our events - we will have a limited supply of water and cups at the finish line - PLEASE BRING YOU OWN DRINKS FOR AFTER THE EVENT.

"RULES"

  • No dogs to accompany runners on the course please, unless an assistance or guide dog 🙂
  • You can run with a child in a pushchair as long as the child is strapped in and the pushchair is suitable for the uneven surfaces.
  • NO HEADPHONES to be worn during this event, there will be enough of an atmosphere that you wont need any further distraction!
  • - All under 8's must be accompanied (within an arms reach of their accompanying adult) at all times during the 2km Mini Dash.
  • All under 11's must be accompanied (within an arms reach of their accompanying adult) at all times during the 5km Santa Dash.
  • Smile for the camera 😃
