It’s our flagship event!
Dinton Pastures Country Park
SATURDAY 6 JUNE 2015
750m open water swim > 19.5km bike > 5.2km run
After a successful debut in 2014, we’re delighted to again be working in partnership with Wokingham Borough Council to bring you our 2015 sprint distance triathlon at Dinton Pastures Country Park, near Hurst, Reading.
Enter on your own, or share the work and enter as a team!
The swim is in lovely Black Swan Lake, the bike route is the same as the one we use for the Dinton Duathlon and the run route is the same as the Dinton Pastures 5km/10km Summer Series. Why not enter our spring duathlon and the May run as well and get familiar with the bike and run terrain?
This event is being run under British Triathlon rules — full details here.
NO HEADPHONES TO BE WORN AT ANY TIME DURING THE EVENT — THIS IS FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF OTHER COMPETITORS. WE WILL DISQUALIFY ANY COMPETITOR WE FIND WEARING HEADPHONES.
Black Swan Lake will be open for Open Water Swimming every Wednesday evening from 6 – 8pm, £3 fee from Wednesday 22 April.
“Many thanks for a great event on Sat . The organisation was great from start to finish , plenty of friendly marshals and one of the best medals I’ve received in over 300 triathlons. I would recommend your races and will certainly enter again.”
“Thank you for a great day at the races! I really enjoyed be able to do a ‘local’ triathlon on roads I know and round the lake. You and your team did a great job and the medal is bigger than some of my Ironman ones! Looking forward to next year Ellie. Great show.”
