“I have done many half marathons over the years and this is definitely my favourite one!!!
It ticks all the boxes. I couldn’t fault it, the marshals were super , it was well organised, a beautiful route and so, so friendly. The directions and parking were perfect too.”
It’s back again due to popular demand…..
BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY, 28 AUGUST 2017
13.1 miles — 10am
Following the inaugural success, we are back for more Harwell Half Marathon running fun – hopefully in the August Bank Holiday sun not rain this year!
The route starts off flat and then gently undulates along footpaths, bridleways, and tracks up onto the Ridgeway National Path from where you can enjoy some stunning views of the rolling Oxfordshire countryside.
Altogether a better way to spend a Bank Holiday Monday!
No headphones to be worn at any time during the event — this is for your own safety and the safety of other competitors. We will disqualify any competitor we find wearing headphones.
Great events mean plenty of volunteers and we make sure ours are looked after VERY well. If you are interested in volunteering at an event – whether it be for race registration, course marshaling or handing out medals – we would love to hear from you, contact us here
