We know you missed the Autumn Duathlon – so get in early for the Spring one….
SUNDAY 10 APRIL 2016 – 8:30am
5.2km Run > 20km Bike > 5.2km Run
We’re again working in partnership with Wokingham Borough Council to bring you our first multisport fixture of 2016 — the popular spring Dinton Duathlon.
The runs take place on a 5.2km off-road lap around Dinton Pastures Country Park, Hurst, Reading, and the 20km cycle on a marshalled one-lap route on gently undulating country roads around Hurst and Twyford.
Open to all abilities — come and have some fun, and bring your family and friends!
Any changes/substitutions are subject to a £5 admin fee.
ONLINE ENTRY CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT THURSDAY 7 APRIL.
No headphones to be worn at any time during the event — this is for your own safety and the safety of other competitors. We will disqualify any competitor we find wearing headphones.
COMMENTS FROM PREVIOUS COMPETITORS:
“Just wanted to say thanks for today’s duathlon. It was very well organised, much better than some other more expensive events I’ve attended. Thanks also to the friendly marshals.”
“As someone definitely not in the ‘elite’ group (and never will be!), the Duathlon was accessible to all abilities and I would recommend it to those wanting to expand into competing and/or completing different sporting events.”
“Well done to Ellie and Ian and everyone else involved. Today’s Reading Dinton Duathlon has got to be one of the most well signed, well marshaled and well organised multi-disciplined races I have ever participated in.”
